Biotech Labs Pharmaceutical is a South African pharmaceutical company founded in 1990 that markets, sells and distributes generic and branded pharmaceuticals to both the private and public sectors in South Africa. It is also active in the export markets within the SADC region.

 

Their Problem

Biotech came to us needing a new responsive website with a product catalogue function to update content. They also required a function to capture a database of medical practitioners and a gateway to screen non-medical practitioners for high-schedule drugs, as required by the legislation.

 

Their current site was non-responsive, static, and they could not update content. Furthermore, it was not in line with pharmaceutical industry regulations.

 

Due to pharmaceutical industry regulations against marketing drugs directly to the public, they needed a website that would be able to show unscheduled drugs to the public and scheduled drugs only to medical practitioners.
